I understand that the style mavens want you to match the socks with the pants. But somehow I never seem to be able to quite match the shades, and it ends up looking wierd. It is much easier to match the shoes. White sneakers & white tube socks. Black dress shoes and black dress socks. I haven’t owned a pair of brown shoes in years. ---

I feel like I could get more traction (heh) here if I could show you the shoe in question. But I can’t find those shoes anywhere on the entire internet! How is that even possible? Anyway, they look great with jeans. It’s the perfect “casual but dressy” shoe. The shoes in the OP could be worn with a suit, but these ones couldn’t be.
