# Sodomy from Sodom and Gommorah

Possibly God was rewarding Lot by making him rich.

Given the rarity of spices in those days, a human-sized pillar of salt would have been worth a fair amount of cash. And surely it was pure, high-grade salt (and obviously kosher).
