# Software changes to the board?

In [this sticky](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=826350) mention is made of testing software changes to the board. Do any of the staff know what sort of changes are being considered? An updated vBulletin version perhaps?

Personally I’m of the opinion if it ain’t broke don’t fix it so I’m a little apprehensive.

As ECG mentioned, none of the moderation staff are at liberty to discuss it, if there were in fact something to discuss.

In the world of security vulnerabilities, this isn’t a viable approach.
