# Software music player with API?

Is there a music player that one could access from a script? Specifically, a customer of mine wants to have music playing on his PC unless a specific computer event happens, in which case the music should pause.

Any suggestions?

You can add a plugin to Winamp that would pause it in response to some event being triggered. See [here](http://www.winamp.com/plugins/create) for more information.
