Has \*\* the lone cashew\*\* pinged anyone else’s radar before this kerflufluffle other than \*\* PlainJain’s\*\*? Something is very wrong with him that poking won’t help or his claim of a hacked password might be correct IMHO. I certainly haven’t read all of his posts though. Anyone able to point to anything similar to this posting behavior? ---

That said, I don’t think TLC is suggesting that all his posts here were the result of a hack, just the one he highlighted. ---

Hell, \*\* Bob Ducca\*\* may have nailed it in one in the ATMB thread. Ambien/Lunesta and some other meds can make one act bizarrely and never remember it. ---

You could generously say that he posted his insults to PlainJain before reading up and seeing the other post that he doesn’t recall making. If he were on something like Ambien, he’d still be posting his true thoughts but the weird syntax and his claim of no memory of writing it reminds me a lot of some things I did while fighting the effects of Ambien. Of course, he could also just be a lying liar that lies. Weird that he’d claim that one post was by someone else and not the rest of his venom. ---

I’m just guessing since this is so atypical and still not sure what posts he’s claiming are not his. And the \*\* PlainJain\*\* post was not nearly as nasty as the others and has some basis in disputed history. FTR though whatever THAT deal really was, she’s a poster who speaks her mind and intelligent to boot. ---

In a panic makes a bunch of crazy posts so he can say his account was hacked and that the post he made during Step 1 wasn’t made by him. 3.) ??? 4.) PROFIT! If that _is_ what he’s doing, it’s a stupid plan. ---

What’s so interesting about his ATMB claim that his account was ‘hacked’ (what he really means is that he left his account logged in somewhere supposedly) is that it just doesn’t make a lick of sense. So, some random stranger hacked his account and just happened to know about something that happened on a Straight Dope spin off snark board NINE YEARS AGO, remembered I was the poster and photography subject in question, and then decided to throw that in a thread here. I’m no statistician or anything, but something tells me the odds of a perfect stranger recalling that random fact that has almost never been directly addressed on this board is pretty much slim to none. ---

Maybe he is trying to claim another Doper hacked his account in some kind of personal vendetta, in an attempt to cast doubt on his character. If that is what he is claiming, it is a serious accusation. ---

I think he’s only claiming the one “Be my Mom is no dumbass motherfucker!” post is from the hacker, but he’s not disowning the rest of the garbage he’s been spewing in this thread.
