# Somalia Worse than Darfur?

I saw today (NY TIMES) that Somalia is once again in the group of nations renowned for human misery. In addition to their never-ending wars, they now have drought and famine. Not surprisingly, few caregivers want to get involved-the Somalis record of 9turning on their benefactors) no doubt is a factor. Is this the kind of place that ought to be just abandoned? Nothing ever seems to happen there, but more violence.

I don’t see such a question here.
