How good of dancers are they? Do you know? “Putting on the Ritz” would be great if they are good. What is the bride and groom dance? They will want something of a segue. Where are father and daughter from originally?. If New York, “Autumn in New York”, “Moon over Miami” for Miami" etc. The old Nat King Cole (later covered as a duet by his daughter) hit “Unforgettable” would work on a number of levels. ---

I made him a mix CD with these to choose from- I think he’s going to go with the Israel K version of Somewhere/What a Wonderful World, but I’m not 100% sure yet. 1- Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World - Israel K 2- In my Daughter’s Eyes- Martina McBride 3- My Wish - Rascal Flatts (I saw this on a website and liked it when I listened.) 4- You Are So Beautiful - Joe Cocker 5- What a Wonderful World- Louis Armstrong 6- Have I Told You Lately- Rod Stewart 7- Bridge Over Troubled Water- Simon and Garfunkel 8- The Way You Look Tonight- Frank Sinatra 9- Child of Mine- Carole King 10- You Raise Me Up- Josh Groban 11- You’ve Got a Friend- James Taylor 12- Moonlight Serenade- Glenn Miller I really hope he picks #1- I think that would really be a great one and something different. ---

I can’t watch father-daughter dances at weddings. Makes me totally lose it every time. (My father boycotted my wedding, two weeks before the event.) How about “It’s Not Easy Being Green”? No? Ok… well I just like that song, figured I’d mention it. ---
