I’m somewhere between 4+3 and 5 weeks pregnant.
I’m bleeding a little, and I’m scared.
It’s so early I’ve been trying not to get excited, but I want this to work out.
I feel sick and tired (which is good) and so far, no pain (which is also good).
I’m going to the hospital this afternoon.

A little bleeding during pregnancy is not necessarily a sign of something wrong, but it’s always good to get it checked out.

Ok phoned the hospital- they say it sounds like implantation bleeding and just to sit tight- they want to see me next week when there is more chance of seeing a foetal heart.
I’m only to come in if bleeding is heavy or I’m in pain.
So I suppose that’s reassurring- but waiting is not so fun.
I really hope this one is sticky.

My wife had a little bleeding early on in her pregnancy and had had a few miscarriages previously. We now have a wonderful three-month-old daughter.

I know both The Nephew and The Niece involved a bit of bleeding at about one month. He turned 3yo this past October 18, she turned 1mo four days later.

I wish I could link to you my first sonogram. It was taken about the same time you are at now. I had bleeding and we went to check if it was viable.
She is 3 now. I just put her hair up in pigtails and sent her to school.
Is the blood brown or red?

Sticky thoughts for you!
Just last week I had a visit from gorgeous two month old Miss Molly, who kept us all on the edge of our seats for the first three months of her incubation with regular bleeds, but for all that came our hale and hearty and cute to boot. Our diagnosis: drama queen. We suspect she just liked the attention, and showing off for the ultrasounds.

I have lupus and a history of miscarriage (and you gave me great advice and kind words through the last miscarriage and both of my successful pregnancies). I had bleeding early on when I was pregnant with my second son - scared the crap out of me, but it turned out to be nothing. The waiting is really hard, though…take care of yourself and indulge in a little comfort pampering.

Best wishes to you! Try not to drive yourself nuts thinking about it. I totally know what you’re going through - I also had bleeding with my son at 7 weeks and it turned out to be nothing. They did an internal ultrasound and there he was, a little alien-like tadpole, little arm buds and everything. It still scared the ripe shit out of me, and I couldn’t stop researching it until my husband dragged me out of the house and away from my computer. Good luck!!
