WTF!? It looks like an ordinary laptop bag, except for the additional compartments. It doesn’t look the least bit like a woman’s purse. Could the OP fill us in on where he lives and who the assailant was? I’m thinking it must have been some idiot kid. As for me, I leave the house so loaded down every day – laptop, large coffee thermos, and perhaps one or two days’ worth of lunch-- that I finally gave in and now use an overnight bag with wheels that’s designed to fit under an airplane seat. I can only imagine what that (presumed) kid would think of me! ---

Well, **I** have an actual **purse**. It’s small, has enough room for a camera and a paperback, and was purchased at a purse store. It has wide straps rather than little strappy ones, but it’s a purse. To make matters worse, I have it covered with Queer pride buttons. And yet, I have had people _correct me._ “…in my purse.” “Your bag?” _look at them strangely_ “My _purse._” And I have had people call me faggot for using it, though I don’t understand why that’s meant to be an insult in this case. I mean, it’s true, and I already knew it. _shrugs_ ---

It was a cry for help. His inner feelings have been supressed for to long. Believe it or not, according to [Queer Eye](http://www.bravotv.com/Queer_Eye_for_the_Straight_Guy/Shopping_Guide/Fashion/103.shtml) the correct place to get a proper fag bag is (urp) [Wilson Leather](http://www.wilsonleather.com/index.jsp). But if you load it up with a 15’ laptop and all kinds of other crap and you just happen to be a fat schlub, you’ll still be a fat schlub carrying a cool messenger bag. I’ve got satchels, messenger bags, purses, pocketbooks, and clutches. But I refer to each one as “my sack.” As in, “keep an eye on my sack, will ya?” or “can you grab my sack?” My father carries a bag. It’s a grey canvas paratrooper bag and my mother calls it his purse. ---
