**If You Don’t Stop . . . You’ll Go Blind** and its sequel, **Can I Do It . . 'Til I Need Glasses?** Both are collections of short sketches, acting out the dirty jokes kids tell each other in junior high school. The funniest part of the second movie is its theme song. **Waterworld**. It’s a Mad Max movie on boats. If the studio spent too much money on it, that’s not my problem. [Hearts and Armour](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearts_and_Armour). A re-telling of _Orlando Furioso_ with Italian actors, Tanya Roberts, and low-budget, early-1980s special effects. **Sword of the Valiant** with Miles O’Keefe as Sir Gawaine, and Sean Connery as the Green Knight, and a synthesizer soundtrack that makes **LadyHawke** ’s sound good. As a work of Cinematic Art, it is terrible. As a cinematic adaptation of a medieval romance, it’s not bad. It is exactly the sort of story that troubadours wrote to entertain pampered aristocrats. Peasants are either non-existent, or comic relief. Why does the Black Knight attack Gawaine? Because he is a black knight. It’s what they do. Why do Morgan le Fay, Elaine, and the Queen all fall in love with Gawaine? Because he’s pretty. The 1976 version of [Alice in Wonderland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alice_in_Wonderland_(1976_film)), and the 1977 version of [Cinderella](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinderella_(1977_film)). Porn musicals. They don’t write 'em like that anymore. ---

I mean, it wasn’t great, but it was about run of the mill as post-apocalyptic movies go (and as you say, the studio’s budget isn’t my problem). I’ll nominate The Fifth Element. In no way is that a good movie, but it’s just so much fun. Mostly, I think, due to Mila Jovavich’s performance, though the whole cast was great. ---

One from my youth that used to play on the local stations now and then – _She Devil_. Not the Meryl Streep Roseanne Barr one, but the B-movie made in 1957. Doctors discover a medicine that cures tuberculosis. They give it to a dying woman, who is cured but turns into the “she devil” – a woman of no morals who kills to get what she wants. The drug also gives her the ability to change her hair color at will (!) which allows her to get away with her evil deeds. ---

I love all the campy Vincent Price horror movies. They are just so stupid and fun. Svengoolie has fun and silly movies every Saturday on MeTV. They’re always bad. And you get, as a plus🤔, a bunch of crap from the Svengoolie shtick and movie comments. ---

Sometimes I fall asleep with the TV on and wake up watching a WTF did I just watch? movie going on. I love those movie moments. [Children Shouldn’t Play with Dead Things](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Children_Shouldn%27t_Play_with_Dead_Things). Bad? Well, you try waking up in the middle of the night, watch it and tell me it’s good. Fun? Middle of the night WTF kinda fun. [Strangeland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strangeland_(film)), a movie starring Dee Snider and, as I came to find out later, also written by him. So, so full of WTF???!!! and not even the first one is, “WTF, was that just Dee Snider?” [Arena](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arena_(2011_film)). I am sure there is a thread I started about this movie. A fucked up, depressed ex(?) cop gets kidnapped and made to fight for the internet. That is only the very first WTF. Samuel L Jackson showing up was a pretty big WTF since, like I said, I caught this in the middle of the night at home and had not seen posters and promos (or even heard of this movie) featuring Mr. Jackson as one of the stars. He’s only in the movie for a hot minute. There are others but I don’t think they are bad but are a bit WTF. Flesh+Blood starring Rutger Hauer and Jennifer Jason Leigh is a good example. But I run on. ---

I have not seen them in a while but they must surely fall under the “bad” category these days. I doubt they have aged well. Another favorite as a kid was the Charlie Chan movies. I know they can be controversial now, but it was delicious comfort watching at the time. I loved how at the end he would bring everyone together in the drawing room and slowly explain the events and expose the killer. Probably just terrible exposition, but fun! ---

It’s clearly a ridiculous premise but it’s being played for laughs and doesn’t take itself too seriously (admittedly in most cases that phrase being used to the describe a movie does mean it’s a bad movie, but not this one IMO) ---

I’d LOVE to see a more serious remake- is there really a supernatural monster killing the old folks or is the real horror the fact they’ve been forgotten and packed out of sight til they die? Back To The OP Hercules and Hercules II starring Lou Ferigno. For some reason, the monsters in the first film are depicted as robots. ---

**Legend of Boggy Creek** had an outstanding radio ad campaign that made it sound like it was a really blood-curdling horror movie. It wasn’t horrific. It was just horrible, and at the same time, deeply hilarious. It’s a cult classic but it’s just bad bad bad. I think I saw it at a drive-in. Rivaled only by **Night of the Lepus** (another drive-in fave) in which the monsters were giant bunny rabbits. ---

**Night of the Lepus** could have been a good movie. It was based on an Australian novel titled _The Year of the Angry Rabbit_.
