I have no problem saying that I think Anthony did it, that the jury should have been able to convict, and that any justice system that makes them feel like they can’t is messed up, but this? I have no interest in Casey Anthony. But I do have a lot of people on Facebook that creep me out. I’ve mentioned my first friend in the States, whom I met when I was four. He’s now a Teabagger, believes Obama was born in Kenya, that Obama is a Secret Muslim™, etc. A girl I had the hots for in high school is the same (and living in Arizona). A lot of my old classmates sent friend requests, and being a semi-nice guy I allowed them. They’re all conservatives and religious. See, this is why I rarely visit my Facebook account. ---

I think it’s terrible, but it’s just one kid in one country in one state in one city in one neighborhood and I don’t know any of them. Why is this national news? If you’re going to dwell on the death of every stranger your life is not going to be very happy. ---

I knew what this was going to be about before I opened the thread. It’s a sad case and I think the jury blew it, but the reactions got creepy the second the verdict came out.
