As a gay man, a single woman living alone in a house doesn’t ring any bells. The painting contractor bit though, that-for some reason-is a field that is just rife with lesbians. I don’t know why, but every single female painting contractor I’ve ever met is a lesbian. Even Cheryl Wheeler has a song about her partner (now wife) and a job of hers when she was a painting contractor. Syllogisms and all that, it doesn’t mean that you are one. It just means that the odds are assumed not to be on your side. ---
