You know I often wonder if there’s any topic other than Africa that people have such firm opinions about, yet know so little.

That’s not what I’m getting from those posts, but at least it’s something of a reason to bring it up.

Sure. I just think that the scope of your job is fairly ridiculous. See my thread in this forum titled “Modding for content” for my thoughts (and a good discussion) on the topic.

I thought about updating that thread with (i) the post of yours that is the subject of the OP of this thread and (ii) a couple of posts from Tomndeb in a GD thread where he simply misunderstands what’s going on and ends it with “[/Moderating]” without issuing a warning or making it a “Moderator Note” or whatever the googly fuck, but it turns out I couldn’t be arsed.
