The supermodel Brooklyn Decker was on Jay Leno some months relaying the story about how she came to date tennis star Andy Roddick. It’s a nice sweet story, you can tell that she’s a quality woman from a nice family well brought up, and totally not a slut at all. First, watch it: [- YouTube](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U_Yqhsg4v0g) Now, to you and I the way he approached her would seem completely acceptable and within the norms of protocol but to her it was… deviant. She hesitated, she wasn’t sure what to make of it. Eventually after mulling it for a few months and probably learning that he wasn’t a deviant, she returned his call. This proves my thesis that some supermodels have a narrow sense of what is acceptable. Outside that range, and you are automatically tagged as unacceptable. ---

So he had his people call her people. Isn’t that the traditional system we learned in high school? You have your friend ask her friend if she likes you? Maybe kids don’t do that any more and it seemed weird to her. ---
