For those of you who may miss the reference, he has a cameo in the movie _Half Baked_ which perhaps shows the tip of the iceberg as to what he is capable of. The scene – Dave Chapelle is going to a rehab meeting because his girlfriend wants him to quit smoking pot. So he is trying to 12 step. The only semi-blue joke I ever saw him do on _Evening At the Improv_ was about not liking PE in junior high: “I didn’t like getting undressed in front of the other boys, but now I don’t mind.” ---

I used to think that Saget on AFHV told the worst jokes in history. Until I saw Matt Galant on _World’s Funniest Animals_ (or whatever) on Animal Planet. The poor guy delivers his joke with an honest-to-God “Please, kill me now and release me from this torment” look in his eye. It’s quite sad to watch, actually. ---

I saw him on the Rodney Dangerfield Young Commedians Special they used to play on HBO ad nauseum. He was extraordinarily funny: [from memory] “Well, I just got married.” [“Awwww” from audience.] Yeah, she’s great. She’s six years old. [Gasp!] No, seriously, I’m nuts over her. [Holds hand just under his crotch.] She’s this tall." “I love my parents. And you can too for just $19.95.” He also did an uncanny Yogi and Boo-Boo impression, but with profanity. To this day I find excuses to use the phrase “Well uck the ranger, Boo-Boo.” –Cliffy ---

The situation made it even funnier- there Dad is totally wiped out, probably just been through the most gut-wrenching moment of his life, and uses THAT to break the tension! Nobody could be as lame as his Full House character. I can totally believe he’s raunchy and funny and cool in real life, and good for him. I hope he laughed all the way to the bank. ---

Am I the only one who remembers Saget from his Morning Show segments? He did some sort of “Today in History” thing for one of the network’s AM shows. Can’t remember which one, though. “This Morning”? ---

I remember watching some of his televised stand-up (clean) years ago, and at the start of his set, he got a laugh.
