I don’t think this is what it is.
People who are neutral - or who claim to be - get to have their words carry extra weight, as sort of unbiased arbitors. This can be frustrating to the side they “rule” against.

See, I’m Bricker-neutral too, and I get annoyed by a lot of the trivial nonsense people throw at him. But I think his focus on procedure often makes him unable to understand that other folks don’t emphasize, or care about, procedure as much as he does–he’s the lawful-good paladin ineffectively telling the bard what to do.

If you change the phrase “get to” to “think they,” and change “frustrating” to “annoying,” we agree.

I’m not sure the partisans are the best judges of that, though.
Maybe we need other neutral people to keep score of that. 🙂

Who are you “neutrals” attempting to impress? If the whole thread is partisan except for you and you can only impress a neutral, sounds like you’re only impressing yourself.

I have not claimed to be neutral here, and I believe you have me confused with someone else. (Think of someone whose name rhymes with “ **Scumpup** ”.)
But FWIW, it’s likely that a lot of the readers are “neutral”, even if they’re less likely to actually post, and I suspect you’re aware of this.
