Getting back to the OP, the fact that they picked someone up so quickly suggests to me that the person of interest is a current or former employee known to be disgruntled. That doesn’t say anything about motivation – she might have been disgruntled about the restroom policy. But presumably there’s a history behind her attitudes that will be easy to discern. ---

That’s my regular Target - I grew up in Evanston, and it’s on the way to my mom’s place. I was there just a few days ago. I am curious to see whether the Evanston cops can come up with anything useful. Let’s just say this is not the sort of thing they’re used to dealing with. When I was growing up, my main contact with Evanston cops was when they would kick us out of the park for playing Hacky-Sack after dark. Because Evanston does have a gang problem and a drug problem, but they were worried about the choir and the math team playing Hacky-Sack. ---
