And, **Clothy** , let me state that the problem isn’t all you, either. I think it goes both ways. I’ve started off with potshots at you, when I had no reason to do so. And for that, I apologize. I’m trying to be diplomatic. I don’t agree with many of his political views, but I think that trying to be respectful might actually work better than outright hostility at the onset. I’ve been on his “ignore” list. Maybe we can change his approach to these discussions by changing ours. It may not work. But it’s worth a try. And, despite my sniping at him, I haven’t pissed him off nearly as much or as often as some of the others. So I’ve decided to make the attempt. ---

Well, this is fun. The thread is all about how that **Clothahump** isn’t agreeing that he’s stupid, and how he can use this opportunity to openly troll people and get the discussion to be all about him. Yay. For the record, anybody who thinks that scientific skepticism means that global warming can be reasonably questioned doesn’t understand the meaning of the term “skepticism” as it applies to science. And since they are using global warming as the thing to doubt, they’re clearly a scientifically illiterate partisan hack. ---
