It’s perfectly reasonable to suppose that in that scene, the music was provided by an orchestra in the loft, which would make that scene without music just as awkward as the cantina scene would be without music.
Or it could have been piped in, just like Kirk’s ruffles and flourishes for Lincoln.
Did the same scene in Triumph of the Will have live music playing when Hitler et al. marched the length of the hall? Hard to imagine it didn’t! :dubious: ![]()
But nobody says anything! The cantina had lots of people blabbing in the background. It only got awkward because some guy needed to get his arm sliced off to learn some manners.
Right, nobody said anything because it was a somber ceremony with music playing. The lack of dialog is really awkward without the music, which is a good reason to assume that the music is there.
Well I’ve never seen an award or medal ceremony so lacking in verbiage in real life somber or no, but whatever.
