# Something to kill a few boring minutes of your day.

Take THAT, boring minutes! I give you Spreeder.

Billed as a speed-reading training tool, it displays any passage you like, one (or more) word at a time at a whatever speed you choose. I have no idea if it actually translates into any long-term increase in reading speed/comprehension, but it’s entertaining all the same. So far, I can catch most everything (assuming I haven’t read it before) at 800 wpm, in two-word chunks. When I go up to 1000, I can pick up clips and phrases, but comprehension as a whole takes a big dive.

Anyway, thought I’d share. I’m in that kinda mood today ;).
