i just wanna restate to all of you who experience things like this more than occassionally…if you also suffer from daytime sleepiness… go see a sleep doc cause you could well have narcolepsy, which is a treatable sleep disorder - there’s no need for you to put up with feeling that way
The first time this ever happened to me was a few weeks ago. I was sort of half-awake, and I could hear inside my head a really sweet original composition on acoustic guitar.
I compose entire rock operas whilst in this state. Not sure why, but just rock operas. They are always ground-shakingly stupenous and and aural wall of emotion, and I think to myself that it would be really good if I could remember the tune when I wake up properly.
But of course I never do. Probably just as well, likely as not they are incredibly lame in the cold light of consiousness.
