# Somewhat of a spoiler question about Indy 4

First, the spoiler doesn’t work for the mouseover text.

Second, he died because the immortality came at a price. It only worked until you crossed the seal in the temple. That’s why the two brothers who left the temple a few hundred years afterwards ended up dying and why taking the Grail past that point caused the temple to crumble.
