(or Return of the Dawn of Sugardope or The SugarDope Strikes Back or The Wrath of Sugardope or… [make up your own]). Yep, it’s this time of year once again, when the snow is falling, the birds are singing, drivers are cursing wait… that happens all year round… Never mind, maples are getting ready to flow and Dopers are getting ready to satisfy their sweet tooth. This year I offer the date of Saturday the 17[sup]th[/sup] of March (why not kill two birds with one stone ? St Paddy’s day and sugaring off) for this yearly celebration of the end of winter. All are invited. Who’s interested ? ---

Also . . . any thoughts about plans for events in the evening, or the morning after/evening before? I’m trying to get my work schedule figured out, and I don’t know if I should try to be up there Friday night for anything, or plan to stay through Sunday afternoon. ---

Yes, there should be a supper on Friday evening followed by whatever the people feel like doing (open to suggestions) as well as another meal on Saturday evening followed by entertainement (might be a little bit more difficult since it will be St Paddy’s week-end) and if people are up to it, a brunch on Sunday morning. I’m still waiting a week or so before staring to make the reservations so as to give the chance to a maximum of people to announce their intentions. ---

I will try to make it, although I do work weekends. I may be able to sneak away for an hour or two on Saturday. And if **Ginger** appears, I definitely have to show, if only because she’s already attended dopefests in two other cities where I was living, and we need the trifecta! ---

_bump_ I’ve been away for a week and just catching up on stuff. There is no way I can possibly plan this far ahead (March!!! I can’t even commit to anything for this weekend!) but I’ll keep it in mind and try and make it if I can. I’d love to meet some Montreal Dopers now that I live here too.
