So you and your loved one are going to be apart on Valentine’s day. What song do you send them to tell them how you feel?

Our wedding song,“Valentine” by Martina McBride. One of my bridesmaids (who has a great voice)sang it for us at exactly 5:00 pm at our wedding on Valentine’s Day (it was a Sunday that year) 1999.

“If there were no words,no way to speak…I would still hear you.If there were no tears, no way to feel inside,I’d still feel for you and even if the sun refused to shine, even if romance ran out of rhyme, you will still have my heart until the end of time. You’re all I need my love, my valentine…”

Personally, I’d go with “Love Song” by the Cure.

“However far away,
I will always love you,
However long I stay,
I will always love you…”

Personally, I would go with Sting’s song “ **Fields of Gold**.”

It has a lovely nostalgic quality about it, without being overdone or cheesey. A nice balance, rarely done successfully.

And sexy as hell, to boot. 🙂

I think that Im going to just cut parts of each song & paste them together, then it sounds kind of familiar, yet original 🙂
