It’s an instrumental piece - basically an uptempo version of a baroque or classical piece that I’m familiar with but forget the name of. It was done in the late 60s or early 70s, I believe.

Who did this update and what was it called?

Thanks.

I asked the same question…if it’s what I’m thinking of, it’s Ode to Joy.

According to [SoundtrackNet](http://www.soundtrack.net/trailers/?cid=D&id=1088), it was probably “Joy” by Apollo 100. Which is a cover of Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”, so that matches with your description. It’s on [this CD](http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000003387).

That would be “Joy” by Apollo 100; it’s a faster, electronic version of J.S. Bach’s “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring”.

It’s one of those songs that has been on plenty of trailers, like that New Radicals song from 99…though not quite up there with “I Feel Good” just yet.

Or _Carmina Burana_. 🙂
