# Song Identification

This’d be from the Seventies, I guess. The voice is (kind of) Steve Winwood-y, and the lyrics I can recall at the start are something like:

“As I lay down…”

and the chorus is something like:

“Lay down la da de down…” or something. May be “hey” rather than “lay” in places, I’m not sure

I can see why I thought it sounded a little like Winwood-era _Traffic_. It’s the voice.
