More specific, the synecdoche of “watching as the frilly panties run” is watching the young girls wearing said frilly panties.

Since I’m answering without contibuting much:

-Beatles, _The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill_: What does Bill always bring in case of accidents?
-Why is Jim Croce sorry at the beginning of playing _I’ll Have to Say I Love You In A Song_?
-Some people say he’s Kris Kristofferson’s devil. Some even say they’re the same. Who?
-(Harder last question) How does Freddie Mercury feel about Star Wars, and where do we discover it?

1 - Her name was Magill, and she called herself Lil, but everyone knew her as Nancy. She and her man, who called himself Dan…

Another single-artist set (for the moment, I think I’ll omit the song titles to make it a slight touch tougher):
Elton John

1 - What did the narrator find out she’s got from reading a magazine?
2 - Where are the red tail-lights headed?
3 - What is the occupation of Jesus’ father?
4 - What’s not the kind of place to raise your kids?
5 - You may not believe it, but I don’t believe in this…
6 - What are two possible professions I could have? But then again, no…

Which, in fairness, I questioned. And without cheating, I really can’t venture a guess. One of my least favorite Beatles tunes. Leave that for somebody else.

Okay, single artist/group, no song titles, artist unspecified, a bit tougher since you all are so good:

What might you find if you look up on the wall or under your pillow?

What did I hold so tightly in my hand?

What criminal activity is it no fun engaging in?

What does she have that grabs a hold of you and slowly tears you apart?

What locked me in and held me tight?

What time is lunch?

It’s more recent than any of the others.

I still have a lingering quote (edited now for correctness) from earlier on that has not been answered:
-Some people say he’s Kris Kristofferson’s double. Some even say they’re the same. Who?
