Tuba, I take it you are saying that SDMB moderators do not treat song lyrics differently from the way they treat other copyrighted works. If that’s the case, then I think the SDMB policy jibes with my understanding of copyright law. I would still be interested, however, in a deeper understanding of how **Exapno** reached the conclusions he states. ---
