I looked for an earlier thread but couldn’t find one.

GRRM has put a chapter up from the [_Winds of Winter_](http://www.georgerrmartin.com/if-sample.html). Actually it’s been up since christmas but I’ve only just seen it. ANd it’s pretty awesome.

Which just makes the inevitable wait all the worse.

Nice that he managed to get a “words are wind” in there. I’d hate to see a chapter go by without that phrase.

Well nobody’s pissed off a wall yet, so he’s really not recycling images or phrases here.

And he’s not even close to a Robert Jordan level of braid tugging and sniffing. 😉
