I want to say that I personally find the 7" limitation totally unfair. Most of the songs I like are longer than that. Yeah, **digs** ’ kid and I probably share tastes. For me, 24 hous of [Soul Sacrifice](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqZceAQSJvc) should be a piece of cake, even if it is an edit of the song. For my enemy? [Something Against You](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XdL1QAil9U). I personally love the song, but I doubt that my enemy and I share tastes. So, might as well send a message. ---

The surest way for me to hate a song I used to love is to hear it over and over. There is no song on God’s green earth I could listen to continuously for that long. I have to go with “It’s a Small World” for an enemy (not that I have any enemies right now). ---

For me: maybe ‘At Last’…not sure which version or by whom. For my enemy: I will have to go with the appalling torture song they played at my man Daryl, imprisoned naked, in a dark dungeon, on The Walking Dead, for days at a time: ‘Easy Street’. A peppy kid’s tune, I don’t know who ever performed it. I think they changed their names and went into hiding after that grotesque episode of TWD. ---

I could happily listen to Jacob Kowalski’s theme (from the film ‘Fantastic Beasts’) for ages. (Indeed the Youtube link I gave is an hour long - even though the theme is only a couple of minutes - so others like it too!) I expect anyone would get fed up with Crazy Frog! ---

Mine: I wonder if I would still like Wendy Carlos’s version of Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos (I’m not sure which one to pick). There are so many countermelodies that I could spend a long time picking them apart and learning them. My enemy: The worst earworm song ever, “Baby Shark” by Pinkfong. For me, my default earworm: We will rock you. For my enemy: if he speaks Spanish, any song by Georgie Dann (dude was the King of the Summer Hit for decades; his songs aren’t particularly “good” but damn do they give you an instant earworm). If not, Aserejé cranked all the way up. ---

I reckon Ranger Jeff was onto something so I’ll risk the ire of Czarcasm’s adjudication by fliptism. For myself? A few years ago now on Australian TV was a comedy/talk show called “The Money or the Gun” where the music segment on each episode was a different artist with a version of Stairway to Heaven. [26 different versions](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB51C97ADB8ED0B89), including Rolf Harris’s which made it to #7 on the UK singles chart. As a fallback, Icehouse’s “Great Southern Land” For the enemy? Cop Charlene’s “Never Been to Me”, though just twice would probably induce their self-immolation. ---

For me, a song that has enough repetition that my brain can put it in the background which also means few (if any) lyrics but some variety so it doesn’t become ponderous. There are a few by Sky that are possible to listen for extended periods such as Toccata, but obviously full albums would be much better - you can have them run in the background inoffensively or you could pay attention when you want I think this would be torture played for a few hours, I cannot stand this whiny bastard.
