I’m the op and I use Tapatalk to browse the Dope on the weekends. Tapatalk takes YouTube links and “helpfully” turns them in to a thumbnail of the movie clip. Instead of words. So when you post words that are hyperlinked to YouTube, I lose the words and have no idea what song you’re trying to post. Now you know! 🙂 Also it would be super helpful if when you post an ambiguous song title you let us know what animal it’s about. Shannon is what? Ok, another! “Century of Elvis” by Belle &Sebastian is about a dog named Elvis. ---

I skimmed the whole thread but did not search for the following songs. Apologies if they were already mentioned. _ **El Condor Pasa** _ by Paul Simon mentions birds. _ **Wet Dream** _ by Kip Adotta is about, well, fishy things. Since the Hamburger song (The cow in the meadow goes, “Moo”) was mentioned upthread, I’m surprised that _ **Smelly Cat** _ by Phoebe Buffay hasn’t been put forward as a great representative of the genre. ---
