A lot of the songs on Coheed and Cambria’s _In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3_ are creepy and weird, and maybe pervy as well: (spoilers) In Al the Killer, apparently there’s a serial killer who targets white girls apparently thinking he will obtain part of their soul in the act. In The Crowing(IIRC), there is someone who complains that the target of his affection apparently doesnt return it by whining “but you, you were my favorite,” which I always imagine as some unrequited lover trashing an apartment or something in anger that his loved one SHOULD love him back just because he does. And in In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, the singer asks if “the children really understand the things you did to them,” although in this case he probably isn’t referring to the obvious. They haven’t filled us in on the backstory of this album, though, and the lyrics are sort of opaque so who knows, but they are definitely sung creepily. ---
