ALL pop songs are about food. You think that song is about young love? The songwriter was daydreaming about hot pastrami, mashed rutabaga, and black raspberry ice cream while he was writing it. Hands down, the greatest food song is Bobby (ā€œRoute 66ā€) Troupā€™s ā€œIā€™m Such a Hungry Manā€ (1956), which will give you a craving for roast turkey, chop suey, shish kebab, and steamed clams in a bucket all at the same time.
