Hey **Ellen Cherry** , where you headed down the WK? Since you mention Bill Monroe, you must know that you’ll be passing his hometown of Rosine just before you get to Paradise (and Beaver Dam) on the WK.

Great bass line. And nobody sings about NE Ohio more succinctly and accurately than my girl, Chrissie Hynde.

See, I don’t live there any more. She’s singing about her experience of moving away then visiting the old stomping grounds and finding out they’d “paved paradise and put up a parking lot.” (Sorry, that’s another song, but also one of my favorites.) I can relate completely. I visit about once a year and am stunned and amazed at all the changes. Way to go, Chrissie.
