The situation is this. I am working in an observatory this summer, and will be putting in some very late nights observing. Clearly, I am going to need music. And what better music for this situation but songs that mention outer space, the planets, aliens, and things of that sort. So I ask you all to recommend to me your favorite songs that have astronomical or science-fictional subject matter. Some songs I have already that fit the bill: Mars by Gustav Holst Space Oddity (and others) by David Bowie Supermassive Black Hole by Muse Who’s There by Smash Mouth Stars by Switchfoot Back From Mars by Aqua Anything goes, but the song has to mention something space-related YouTube links greatly appreciated! ---
