I remember a one panel comic strip (sorry, don’t remember when or where or even the name) that had a guy in an elevator listening to “corrected” versions of rock songs, example – “I can not receive any satisfaction,” or, “I can not buy myself any love.” 😁 ---

> [@wguy123](#): > > I don’t know about greatest, but it is up there. I have a bunch that are up there. I listened to it in 1996 and never grow tired of it and can’t think of a contender. It was the peak of their tribal sound. ---

I should also add that I think Roots is the best metal album of all time. Just peak metal and it has not aged a day. Sounds like it could be released right now and it would be hailed a masterpiece. ---

I’m in my late 50’s, and this is one I’ve been hearing for literally my entire life: [“Light my Fire” by The Doors.](https://youtu.be/qoX6AKuYWL8) I just really love Manzarek’s keyboard and Krieger’s guitar. I get lost in them every time I hear it. I was listening to this a few months back, and repeated it a few times. Decided I just can’t get tired of it. Also, [Dreams, by the Allman Brothers.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cR_bTQdnpjI) Duane’s guitar is just ethereal. ---

There is an amazing live performance of this song from their appearance on SNL, but it got pulled from YouTube. ---
