_American Girl_ from **Silence of the Lambs** Even more indelible from the same movie is _Goodbye Horses_ from Q Lazarus, though it’s a little known tune. Everyone seems to remember it from the scene where Buffalo Bill is dancing in front of the camera followed by the…uhh…“package tucking” scene. Lately, Cake’s _Comfort Eagle_ from **Shallow Hal** , simply becasue that movie seems to be on every 5 minutes on HBO. ---

Every time I hear Alice in Chains’ “Got Me Wrong” I think of Clerks. The song only played for 30-40 seconds in the movie, but I always make that connection. ---

Not movies, but whenever I hear “Beyond the Sea” by Bobby Darin I think of the episode with the same name from “The X-Files.” When I hear “Your Song” by Elton John I think of _Moulin Rouge_. Same with “Roxanne” by The Police. I heard “Funniculi, Funnicula” the other day and instantly thought of _Heavenly Creatures,_ which kind of surprised me, since I’d heard the song hundreds of times before seeing that movie. And count me in as another who associates “Singin’ in the Rain” with _A Clockwork Orange_ instead of _Singin’ in the Rain_. ---

Sarah McLachlan’s “I Will Remember You” in **The Brothers McMullen**. The Temptations’ “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” from **The Big Chill**. I hated that movie, and now I associate that song with feelings of dislike. It’s too bad.
