To slightly hijack the OP and drag another thread into this… 4’-33" by John Cage is the antithesis of a song that is too short, as it is a song that is exactly as long as it should be. No more, no less, but just right… ---

Matthew Sweet is good, isn’t he? I’m glad to see people mention him. I vote for “Fucking in the Bushes” by Oasis. Its the only song by Oasis th at I like, and its way too short. ---

The Fire Song by **Shellac** , as well as the Copper Song, also by **Shellac**. Probably the best work they’ve done, in my humble opinion. Each is about a minute. I agree that a lot of the songs listed gain their power by being short. Of course, there’s the entire catalogue of **Torture Garden** , which go anywhere from five to thirty seconds, though I don’t these really count, because it’s a gimmick. ---

Bobski and Jefe2000 by Galactic are too short. Played live, the songs are mad long. But both of them on the CD are under 1:00 ☹ ---
