Yeah, the Monty Python songs are always great, like the “Knights of the Round Table” song from _Holy Grail_ or the “Penis Song” (the “Not the Noel Coward Song”). Others I find amusing: “Star Wars Cantina”, by Mark J. Davis, sung to the tune of “Copa Cabana” “Punk Rock Girl” by the Dead Milkmen - I have a great time singing along “Merry Christmas (I Don’t Want to Fight Tonight)” by The Ramones - again, fun to sing along to “I Lost on Jeopardy” and “The Saga Begins” by Weird Al. I have a hard time singing the normal lyrics to "American Pie now - thanks, Al! “88 Lines About 44 Women” by Nails (and, of course, “88 Lines About 42 Presidents” by the Brunching Shuttlecocks) “Tarzan Boy” by Baltimora - in addition to being one of my favourite songs, it also conjures to mind images of a computer-generated bottle of Cool Mint Listerine swinging from vine to vine through the jungle. * * * Pete Long time RGMWer and ardent AOLer ---

I second “Carrot Juice is Murder” and “Mounted Animal Nature Trail” (especially the live version…“Northern Ontario is 80 billion kilometres wide, and only fourteen people live there, all of whom are named Frank–even the girl”). To continue with the Arrogant Worms theme: “Malcolm” It’s sick. I know. But “Malcolm solves his problems with a chain saw / And he never has the same problem twice” never fails to make me laugh. Another one currently queued up is “Medical Love Song” by bits of Monty Python. ---

“Detachable Penis” is performed by King Missile, who also did “Jesus Was Way Cool”, “Gay/Not Gay”, “Martin Scorcese” (my personal favorite) “Take Stuff From Work”, etc. They’re a really funny band, so check them out. ---

The South Park songs. A LOT of Monty Python songs. A normal song – “Praying for Daylight” by Rascal Flatts, just because of one line – “Doing the only thing that gets me through the night since you’ve been gone” Once I was out with my friends, we made a masturbation comment about that line, and ever since then I can’t hear it without laughing. ---
