This could well be a very short topic and I fully expect someone to come along with links to the last five times this has been done here, but what can you do? So I’ve been thinking about this all day and I could only come up with four songs. There must be many more: You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet - **Bachman Turner Overdrive** Bad To The Bone - **George Thorogood** My Generation - **The Who** Benny and The Jets - **Elton John** Sometimes I think that De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da by **The Police** counts as stuttering. ---

Not sure if this counts, but _The Reflex_ by Duran Duran Why-y-y-y-y don’t you use it? Try-y-y-y-y not to bruise it. Buy-y-y-y-y time don’t lose it. The Reflex -flex -flex -flex -flex -flex On second thought, all the “stuttering” in this song comes after the word instead of before. ---

Stuttering was a characteristic of mod music in 1960’s Britain. This little quirk of modom was copied most famously by The Who in “My Generation”, but the Rolling Stones, Kinks, and various other bands cribbed it along the way to seem like “one of the guys.” ---

I suppose it doesn’t count if there is studio-induced stuttering, but [BT’s “Somnambulist”](http://www.amazon.com/Simply-Being-Loved-Somnambulist/dp/B000TPPZCO/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1208781736&sr=8-3) has some serious stuttering.
