The entirety of Paul Simon’s [Call Me Al](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOiVaE-pKqM), most especially the six seconds from 3:43 - 3:49. Also, Led Zeppelin’s [Ramble On](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zoBvVXluE0M), mostly for the chorus but also for the great bridge. And of course [TANK!](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqvsUs-iQvg) by the Seatbelts, aka the opening credits from Cowboy Bebop. All three of these are also ideal for air bongos, and two of them have parts written for air woodwinds. ---

For me it’s slap bass. Mostly Level 42. Mark King is the master of slap! Something About You, Good Man In A Storm, and Nik Kershaw’s song featuring Mr. King on bass, “Easy.” ---

Damn, missed edit window Goth Music is great for nice bass-driven songs. Personal faves: **Fields of the Nephilim** : _Last Exit For The Lost_, _Love Under Will_, _Laura II_ - I always play air bass rather than air guitar to these, even though the guitar is nice too. May be just the speakers/mix in goth clubs. ---
