I think the 7-7 nomenclature of the Boeings makes for much better lyric opportunities. Also Airbuses are quite recent compared to popular music. ---

Prince mentions a 747 in “International lover” which details his philanthropic attempt to run an airline dedicated to the transportation of lonely ladies (I think) Also The Inpiral Carpets mention a “Zeke 64” in their song “Saturn 5” (which was a WW2 Mitsubishi Zero variant) The same plane was mentioned by Billy Bragg in “Sexuality” ---
