As far as I know, most popular music that uses saxophones use alto or tenor instruments. I’m curious as to what a baritone sounds like in a band. Please, post some examples 😃

It isn’t a hit song, but [The Anchor Song](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IyoLPvFU5Y) by Bjork is just vocals and saxes. One of those is a baritone, right?

Los Lobos use bari sax a lot, though I’m not familiar enough with their discography to cite a good example.

Simon and Garfunkel’s [Baby Driver](http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eeqUUNHwAl8) has a bit of bari sax in it - around 1:40, you can here the baritone driving the bass line along with what I think is a tenor sax.

Thanks!

I’m not much for Jazz, but I liked that first Gerry Mulligan piece- It shows off a really smooth upper register - doesn’t squawk like the smaller ones do!

Feel free to post more! 😃

Jimmy Buffett - Saxophones.

They’re even referred to in the lyrics, although the original recording featured alto saxes instead of the correct baritones. JB finally re-recorded it with the correct instrument a few years ago.
