On the easy listening station they play at work, I heard an acoustic version of the immortal Tom Petty classic _Free Falling._ Though the song is not “hard rock” by any means, the purely acoustic version I heard seemed to remove the Petty rock edge and turn it into crappy commercial mush. What other songs \*were \*turned acoustic that should have been _left alone_? What songs that _haven’t_ been unplugged should never _be_ unplugged? ---
