“Over The Hills And Far Away” - Led Zeppelin (also Houses of the Holy) “The Battle of Evermore” - Led Zeppelin (4th album “ZOSO”) Nobody asked, but this is supposedly the longest song title. Never having heard it, I can’t say if these are in the lyrics: “I’m a Cranky Old Yank in a Clanky Old Tank on the Streets of Yokohama with my Honolulu Mama Doin’ Those Beat-o, Beat-o Flat-On-My-Seat-o, Hirohito Blues” - Hoagy Carmichael ---

In addition to the ones already mentioned: “Immigrant Song,” “Hot Dog,” “D’yer Maker,” “Celebration Day,” “Bron-Y-Aur Stomp,” “Four Sticks,” “The Rover.” Then you have one like “Fool In the Rain,” which has the word “fool” in the lyrics, but that’s it. And there’s probably a bunch I’m forgetting. ---

Lots from New Order. “Bizarre Love Triangle” “True Faith” “Round and Round” “Blue Monday” “Thieves Like Us” This Time of Night" …and many more. None of the songs on their _Technique_ album include lyrics in the song titles. ---

Lots of songs by Stone Temple Pilots: “Creep”, “Big Empty”, few others I’m missing. STP were the king of “title not mentioned in the song”. “New York Mining Disaster 1941” by Bee Gees. “Train in Vain” by Clash. “Good Riddance” by Green Day “Prophet’s Song” by Queen “Under the Bridge” by Red Hot Chili Peppers? “Tom’s Diner” by Suzanne Vega How about songs where the title is mentioned once? ---

Rush’s “Anagram (for Mongo)” doesn’t either. The album this is from was released 25 years ago this week. 🆒 "Madrigal" and "A Passage to Bangkok" :p don't have the title in the lyrics either. ---
