The other day I saw _American Gangster_ and was thrilled to hear Bobby Womack’s _Across 110th Street_. Then today I heard Crowded House’s _Weather With You_, which starts :

\*Walking 'round the room singing Stormy Weather
At 57 Mount Pleasant Street \*

which is satsisfyingly more specific.

Any favourite musical addresses of other Dopers?

Driver 67 (in [Car 67)](http://www.themadmusicarchive.com/song_details.aspx?SongID=13351) is instructed by Control to pick up a fare from 83 Royal Gardens but he refuses because his girl just walked out on him and that’s where she’s living now.

Whatever you think of that summary it’s better than listening to the song.

All Time Quarterback (AKA Ben Gibbard) did this in a song called “Dinner at Eight in the Suburbs” with the lines:

“I left the timber line
for oil slicks and parking fines
And I found that it’s too late
to renew the lease at 1138 Ellis.”

Harry Chapin’s “Taxi” has Sue asking Harry to drive her to 16 Parkside Lane:

_“Where you going to, my lady blue?
It’s a shame you ruined your gown in the rain.”
She just looked out the window,
And said, “Sixteen Parkside Lane.”_

Well, The Wallflowers had “Sixth Avenue Heartache.”

The Beatles had “Penny Lane.”

Eddy Grant had “Electric Avenue.”

The Smiths often named British towns in their songs - Miserable Lie mentions Whalley Range (Manchester), and so on.

Another Mancunian band, Electronic, mention Moss Side (also in Manchester) in “Haze.”

If we’re also including phone numbers, we’ve got to add in Squeeze’s “853-5937,” which also mentions London locales Mill Hill and Bermondsey.

I’m not actually sure if this meets the OP’s requirement - they’re geographic locations, but not street addresses per se.

Though the specific address isn’t mentioned by number it’s not too hard to find **Heartbreak Hotel**.

It’s down at the end of Lonely Street and I’ve been dwelling there ever since my baby left me.

Oh and sticking with the phone number theme, if you’re ever in need of a dirty deed -done dirt cheap by the way- try: 36 24 36 (hey!). Specialties include but are not limited to concrete shoes, cyanide, TNT -and much, much more!
