Theme song from Mystery Science Theater 3000. Apparently, there were 6 different sets of lyrics, but 5 of the 6 have "la la la"s in them. ---

Hey, I just noticed that two songs listed so far, **Kyle Quit the Band** by Tenacious D, and **Going to California** by Led Zeppelin have identical "la la la la"s. It’s fun to find one band referencing another. ---

R.E.M.'s “Revolution” has a ton of la’s in the chorus. It’s not an album track, so you may not have heard of it. I think it shows up on the Batman and Robin soundtrack. There’s also a live version on R.E.M.'s “Road Movie” concert film. “La la la la la la la la Revolution (the future never happened)…” ---
