Anything by AC-DC-knuckle-dragging LCD cock-rock, with a healthy side-dose of misogyny to boot. My favorite band of the 80’s, The Church, could play rings around these drooling Neanderthals, but got 1/100th the attention (with the exception of one lone single). Most everything by Billy Joel (with a smattering of exceptions), but esp. anything off of _Glass Houses_-there has never been nothing in the musical universe past present or even far future which is as pathetic as a lounge lizard trying his hand at punk rock, and failing miserably. Instead of actually, you know, rocking, these hideous monstrosties just kind of lurch and lumber along aimlessly. It didn’t help that my high-school sweetheart, a girl whose tastes and philosophies and personality otherwise meshed almost perfectly with mine, had this complete tosser as one of her favorite artists. Since the aftermath of our relationship was very painful, hearing his crap is not a pleasant experience for me. Anything sung by Peter Cetera after _Chicago VII_ (including his innumerable solo acts)-not only because he has a voice like that of a hamster wheel that hasn’t been oiled in a good long while (encrusted in hamster shit natch), but also because he single-handedly ran into the ground what had once been a pretty good ensemble band, where everyone had a chance to shine. Just about anything heard on “alternative radio” post the breakouts by Pearl Jam and Nirvana, for similar reasons to Cetera, except that in this case it was a whole host of talentless crap-fondling inbreeding wanking scum (and yes the people who promoted said garbage share the blame too) which managed in this case to destroy an entire genre. There are countless others, but these are the ones which affected me the most personally, hence they have a Very Special Place in my Musical Hell, where I hope they get to enjoy the punishment of rotting slowly away while being forced to listen to their creations for the rest of eternity. ---

That’s the Way I Like It by KC and the Sunshine Band. I wish I owned radio signal hijacking equipment so I could put something on more pleasant when this song comes on, such as Hitler addressing the Reichstag or maybe five minutes of recordings of someone having a heart attack while taking an explosive shit. ---

Hmmm, me thinks I may have different tastes in music than most here. I have to say, I like many of the songs mentioned, provided I am not overexposed to them. Not sure if that’s a factor for some here. Anyway as to the OP Anything by Duran Duran, especially “Wild Boys” “Who Let The Dogs Out” by Baha Men. This song could make a S.P.C.A. member hate canines. “I Drove All Night” by Celine Dion. Hop back in that car and keep driving bitch! That’ll do for now. ---

“Loser” by Beck That song, specially when it was popular, would make me want to punch someone if I was forced to listen to more than a few seconds of it. Most overplayed BAD song EVER! Although I’ll admit Beck could occasionally craft some catchy tunes, THAT song poisoned anything and everything he could ever do. There is no redemption from making a song that bad, (and it somehow being very popular) so Beck is forevermore on my blacklist. ---

Skynard started out in my current town (Jacksonville, FL), and that song may have been an allusion to the horrible stench that the paper mill on the northside regularly churned out-if the wind was blowing in the wrong direction, even in my home in the southside would get it full-bore (shudder just thinking about it). Song still sucks tho. ---
