Sony Unveils the PSP2...err, NGP

I am confused, how does that contradict what I said? I think the arrival of the Playstation Phone and the Playstation Suite will give a big push to high-quality games on Android. I know the latter isn't going to be exclusive to Sony's gaming phone but that is a good move and my guess is Sony's phone will have the best hardware for gaming. Whichever way you look at it, it's going to be a big boost for Android gaming.

It doesn’t explicitly refute it, but it’s not exactly in support of it either. Sony could go a few ways with this. Presumably, they’ll make the PlayStationPhone a Sony Ericsson model with a customized Android build.

However, there are so many hardware/software configurations for Android phones right now, I presume there’s got to be a minimum threshold for these phones to play those games.

Thanks, but have to point out that (legitimate) DS games don’t come on flash cards, though the tiny cards do have a small about of flash (or EEPROM) on them to store saves.

“DS/NGP flash cards” is shorthand for “a card that looks similar to flash memory cards like SD cards.”

I knew you’d have my back Bailey :stuck_out_tongue:
