At first I was mildly curious, then after time slightly interested, eventually intriqued, but now I totally captivated and strongly desire, even crave seeing the OP’s pain. I hope we don’t have to wait much longer, and that it lasts a long time. ---

The OP is lacking catharsis, a sense of closure on some important topic to them. Perhaps a mystery never solved, or a loved one lost without being able to say goodbye to them. Thus, this thread was created with no resolution, making us all feel their pain. ---

Given the … interesting … nature of our OP’s _oeurve_ here at SDMB during his(?) two-week tenure as a poster, I halfway think this is his final cry for help / of warning before he(?) does a mass shooting someplace. If so, pal, do everybody a favor and shoot yourself first, not last. Either way the pain is over for you. ---

And how utterly pointless would it be to engage in murder and/or suicide just because people said some stuff on the internet? All that will happen is that people will continue to say stuff on the internet, and you’ll be yet another statistic. And dead. ---

We bought baguettes most evenings, usually serving them with the aforementioned smoked salmon, cheese, onions, and tomato, topped with a wee schmear of Dijon mustard. Would it taste as good today, at home, as it did on a vacation to Paris ? Idunno. But it was awfully damned good in _that_ setting 🙂 ---
